The HM1236 ultra-low quiescent currentregulator features low dropout voltage and lowcurrent in the standby mode. With less than 500nAquiescent current at no load, the HM1236 is ideallysuited for standby micro-control-unit systems,especially for always-on applications like portable,and other battery-operated systems. The HM1236retains all the features that are common to lowdropout regulators including a low dropout PMOSpass device, short circuit protection, and thermalshutdown.The HM1236 has a 6V maximum operatingvoltage limit, a 0°C to 100°C operating temperaturerange, and ±2% output voltage tolerance over theentire output current, input voltage, andtemperature range. The HM1236 is available inSOT89-3, SOT23-5, SOT23-3,and DFN1X1 surfacemount packages.
